Sign in

Create a Meta-Me account, or sign in to the one you have. Finances asks for your consent before it handles any financial data. Your first 30 days are free, then it is £8 a month and includes every Meta-Me app.

Step two

Bring in a statement

Download a statement from your bank's website or app: a PDF from HSBC or Nationwide, or a CSV file from any bank. Drop it on the Import page. A year's worth gives the best picture, but one month is enough to see how it works.

Step three

Sort it, once

Add the starter categories, then put payments from the same place into a category in one go. Finances remembers each one, so your next statement comes in sorted. Then ask the chat where the money went.
